Fawn Senior Buck | 'Hoppin Haven's Uncle Buck' |
Hoppin Haven's HR234 x Hoppin Haven's HR54 | DOB: August 28, 2005'Uncle Buck', as I call him is a large buck that has the typical MASSIVE Flemish head and a set of well developed, strongly attached ears. Although he is showing 'Senior buck coat' in this picture, he has clean Fawn color and good density. Buck's paramount feature is his BALANCE of body. He is not an extremely large Flemish Giant, but his body is in porportion to itself, and that is what I feel makes this animal an incredible asset to my herd. ...it also helps that he is an excellent producer as well! :|:

Fawn Intermediate Buck | 'BITF Tommy Boy' |
Hoppin Haven's Uncle Buck x Hoppin Haven's Large Marge | DOB: November 6, 2006Tommy Boy 's dam passed in a rather peculiure way, and we are saddened by her loss. Margem before her passing, however did leave us with Tommy, an excellent Fawn buck. Tommy has been shown twice, and has received one BOSB, and one Best of Breed in fair competition! Tommy exeplifies good breeding - showing a well developed shoulder, and a good rise. He also has good width of body, but could use to be a little larger. Where as his sire is an excelent HERD BUCK, Tommy shows promise of being an excellent SHOW BUCK. :|:

Sandy Senior Doe| 'Hoppin Haven's Maggie' |
Hoppin Haven's 313 x Hoppin Haven's 311 | DOB: June 12, 2006Maggie is just what I needed! She is a MASSIVELY HUGE Sandy doe. Maggie is VERY wide (over a foot) without being flabby or over conditioned. She also has an excellent rise, and a DEEP full hindquarter. She is a compliment of balance AND size. I have not yet put Maggie on the scale (due to her delicate condition), but she is definately well over 20lbs. Frank Welch was willing to offer the does to me bred, and Maggie accepted a very nice buck that has fantastic Sandy coloration, on a well balanced and well typed Flemish Body. Look for baby updates soon! :|:

Fawn Senior Doe| 'Hoppin Haven's Ruby' |
Bomia's B003X x Hoppin Haven's 141 | DOB: September 6, 2006Ruby also has size to balance with my smaller bucks. She has a VERY GOOD, lively coat of fur, with rich fawn color that dosent appear to fade with summer heat. I was very pleased that this pedigree has some of the big names that I read in the Flemish Guidebook - Royal's, Bomia's, Hall's and Mullinax to name a few. Ruby is a nice brood doe that I hope will give me a fall '07 litter by Tommy! :|:
