Opal Mini Rex Doe | 'BITF Yeti' |
Yeti we thought would turn out large, but in all actuality, she is staying well within size. Her dam comes from good lines, including Farmall's and Chubby Bunnies, with heavy King's and Iris Patch influence, and her sire is the ever excellent producing Over and Out. Her show career this time around has been middle of the road, but when competing with Nixed in Line, she unfortunately has not been able to take the class. Yeti has 3 kits on her right now, 3 Castors sired by Chubby Bunnies Monster. :|:

Opal Mini Rex Doe | 'BITF Nixed in Line' |
Nixed has had a very nice fall show career as a junior, placing first in her class several times (but not enough for legs), and winning a few BOV and BOSV's even with exceptionally small size. She is a TINY doe with a super short fast finishing coat on her, with great overall color and proper undercolor. Nixed is a retired brood doe, and currently has a litter of 2 Opals and a REW. :|:

Opal Mini Rex Doe | 'BITF Hopeulikeit' |
This doe's interesting name comes from a city in Georgia - Hopeulikit (Hope You Like It)! Since her mother is Savanah, I tried to influence her name with a little Georgia flare. She also has her mother's excelent roufous factoring, something that I would like to keep consistant in my line. Like It has been retired also to brood, and has a litter of 4 at this time, 3 Opals and a Blue.

Opal Mini Rex Buck | 'BITF Buick' |
Byick has very nice body type and a very pleasing coat of fur. His ring color and definition are exceptional, and he has proper undercolor. Really nice overall buck, and selected to remain a herd buck here at BITF.

Opal Mini Rex Doe | 'BITF Nintendoe' |
BITF Nixon x BITF Swatch | DOB: July 23, 2006Nintendoe is a full littermate to Jenga above and is also just about as nice to boot. While jenga was strutting her stuff on the show tables in the fall, 'Tendoe was finishing her junior moult and waiting for her turn. She WILL be shown at the '07 PaSRBA show as a Senior Doe, as she only has a few more days before she becomes Senior. Keep an eye out for these two lovely girls. :|:

Broken Opal Mini Rex Buck | 'Icebox Reuger' |
Frederickson's Kryptonite x Cresthill's Suzi Q | DOB: 2000Reuger is an old man who is not only showing his age now at 7 years, but is also showing his influence in my herd. He has sires some AWESOME animals here for me including BITF Coleco, BITF Atari, and BITF No Idea, as well as showing supreme influence on his grand kits and great grang kits. Reuger will always have a place here to call home, and live out the rest of his days as not only a herd buck, but as a precious pet. :|:

Opal Mini Rex Buck | 'BITF Time Out' |
BITF TImex x BITF Dots | DOB: June 3, 2005Time Out is a nice little Opal buck that was loaned out to Cindy Servis when she wanted to try aplaying with another color. Time Out has good ring, nice surface, and very good type, although the picture above is not doing him much justice. He ahs a nice coat of fur and is an overall small buck, as many of Timex's kids were. :: FLASH!:: Time Out has been donated to the 2007 MMRSC Bunny Bay being held in conjunction with the PaSRBA show! With BITF Atticus being donated and sold for the 2nd highest ammount of money bid @ the '06 show, we are hoping that Time Out will help generate even more money for MMRSC! Be sure to check him out, his sire has been VERY influential in my herd, and here is your chance to add some of the line to your own herd! :|:

Opal Mini Rex Doe | 'BITF Time Warp' |
BITF Avalanche x BITF Time to Waste | DOB: April 12, 2005Time Warp has only been shown once, and with that showing she brought home a first in the SR doe class, then went on to win BOV at the Central PA show in '06. She is a larger doe better suited for brood, but she has GREAT color, in surface, ring and under color - nice full bodied balance, and a richly plush coat to nest her kits with. I am contrmplating putting her on the table one more time for PaSRBA '07, but after that she will be permanantly retired as a brood doe, and will hopefully make some awesome little show babies for me in the summer. :|:

Booted Opal Mini Rex Doe | 'BITF Time to Waste' |
Rogers' Over and Out x BITF Swatch | DOB: July 13, 2005Time to Waste is the dam of Time Warp, the doe pictured immediately above. Although Time to Waste is a Booted Broken Opal, she has TREMENDOUS Type AND Fur, not to mention COLOR! As seen with her daughter above, she really can produce some awesome babies, and is a very valueable doe, even though she is only a brood. She is also a half sibling to Nintendoe, and Jenga, and as you can see, the quality - even with different sires, is outstanding and consistant. :|:

Opal Mini Rex Junior Buck | 'BITF Atlanta' |
Homebred Opal Junior Buck | Karg's Savanah x BITF TimexAtlanta is an excellent colored Opal junior buck, showing some of the best rufous factoring to his ring pattern in the barn. His type lacks some in overall lenght to width ratio, but his color and excellent density and texture of coat will clearly make up for it in future generations. He is replacing his sire Timex for color alone, and his first litter already shows significant improvement in overall color, with their rufous factoring being much better than their dam. :|: |

Opal Senior Doe | 'BITF Kennedy' |
BITF Nixon x Roger's Raegan | DOB: Januaury 13, 2006Kennedy has had quite a showing this spring, but her heavy moult prevented her from really going places the last trip out of the barn. She has been to 7 shows and brought home 5 BOV's. She is extremely short and well rounded with a lovely coat of fur on her. She will be back on the tables as soon as she completes this moult, so look for her! :|:

Opal Mini Rex Senior Buck | 'BITF Nixon' |
BITF Timex x Roger's Raegan |DOB: June 2, 2005I cant say enough about Nixon's type or fur right now, he is one that I am keeping a close eye on as he matures. He is deep, wide, full to the table and sets up naturally. He writes a great pedigree that is linebred and shows it. He is NOT for Sale. Nixon placed 2nd in Opal JRB's at Convention in Indianapolis. He is still shown Occasionally. He is currently my main herd buck for my opal stock :|:

Opal Mini Rex Doe | 'Roger's Raegan' |
Opal Doe from Rogers Rabbitland| Senior DoeWe are pleased to have Raegan in our barn right now, she is an exceptional Opal doe expecting a litter any day now. She has color, type, and fur all in one neat little package. Thank you so much Kristi for allowing us to purchase this beautiful addition to my Opal program! :|:

Opal Mini Rex Senior Doe | 'BITF Coleco' |
Promising Show doeColeco is a small built doe that is packing on alot of muscle for her small frame. She also has a very smooth fast finishing coat with correct surface, ring and undercolor. She is a full littermate to Atari, and may be carrying Chocolate for genetic Lynx. She will spend some time on the show tables this spring before being bred. Look out on the show tables for the little Opal doe with the big bucky head! :|: |

Broken Opal Senior Buck | 'Roger's Over and Out' |
Broken Opal bred by Greg and Kristi Rogers | Ear# ROGEROver and Out ususally gets alot of attention on the show tables for his nose marking. He has an eraser sized spot on the very edge of his whisker bed, just making the ARBA requirements... but maybe it is his excellent type and good coat that keeps him placing high on the show tables. He has nice ring color and definition and has a few litters in the nestbox already. :|:

Opal Mini Rex Senior Doe | 'BITF Swatch' |
Icebox Downtime x King's X | DOB: December 17, 2005We decided to keep Swatch and sell her mother (Opal doe King's X), even thought Swatch has poor undercolor (it is there, but it is light gray, not slate!). Swatch is a full sister to BITF Lux and BITF Timex. Her 4th sibling, BITF Rolex is living in Montana with Kim Holborn and is working on his show career. Her type and fur far surpass any of her color faults ~ she is deep, well rounded, balanced and best of all, SMALL!! Her fur is nice and dense, little on the longer side, but I have sevaral bucks that can compliment that fault. Swatch received a Leg for BOSB at the NEPAR&CBA show May 2005, and has a few other first place wins. She has had several litters. Her last was a litter of 3.She was bred to Nixon. :|:

Opal Mini Rex Doe | 'Karg's Savanah' |
Opal Doe from Shelly Karg DOB: Januaury 29, 2005Savanah is a pretty little doe form Shelly Karg of Karg's Carrot Patch, and she is a welcome additon to my herd. She has lovely surface color, strong ring pattern and definition and a deep slate undercolor. She is also a good show doe bringing home 2 legs for BOV at the Midnight Madness show in Leesport in June...she will be shown a bit more in hopes of aquiring that final third Senior leg and then she will retire to become a brood doe...THANKS SHELLY! :|:
